Having got all the team members work we managed to complete the Revised Group Project and the Prototype Solution with a Presentation. In my view i think that this module has allowed us to really share out different tasks and roles thoughtout the undertaking of the project. Hence a variety of skills have been not only shown to others but also learnt from others, just by being part of the team and working towards a common goal. Having completed the assignment we submitted it on the Thursday 17th April 2008. Good Team working!!!!

Finished my section of the Second Assignments!!!

As i have finished my section, i sent it to Eiririma who was the one to compile the project. The next thing i did was to check up on others to see how they are getting on with thier sections. At this stage any queries or difficulties were solved in mini meetings in our free time at university but most of the time, if any members wanted my opinion on a particular section they called me by phone to get an immediate response.

Project Progress during the vacation period!!

We arranged for a meeting on the above date during the vacation period and despite the fact that not all team members were present on that day (due to working committments). Eririma and me met up so as to show how far we have progressed in our assigned tasks, and what was still to be done, we discussed it together and later on informed the two other team members that could not attend the meeting. In that way all members of the team were aware of how the project is being undertaken and to see our overall progress.

2nd Assignment!!!!!
Date: 14th March 2008
Before going on vacation we decided who will do what sections of the second assignment. During the vacation weeks we communicated mostly by email to transfer whatever we have done or any queries. My section was to do the revised project plan which includes the pert chart, revised gantt chart, revised budget, team organisation and documenting how the project was controlled, monitored and reported where there were changes to the deliverables throughout the project.

The Project has been put together and Submitted
We all compiled the project today! We have proof read the project already and have submitted it today! Look forware to the next deliverable.

Planning the Prototype
Today we discussed about the prototype (look and feel of the interface). Since our project is based on an electronic gadget then the interface is very important as we need to ensure that it fits with the requirements of our proposed users.
Summary: The prototype we discussed will also be documented.

Starting the Write up!
This week i have started the write up for my section which is to document the Project scope,aims and objectives which we have discussed within our teams.
My task also is to document the workbreak down structures diagrams.
Summary: At this stage everybody is taking up individual task and emailing each other what we have done.
